Change of needle size
Some of the squares do not say to change to larger needles although it says to change back to smaller needles: seed stitch var 2, basketweave var 2, broken rib. Should these be corrected?
Response to question
I apologize for the confusion. For all of these squares, you will use the smaller needles to work in garter stitch for 3 rows, then change to the larger needles when you're working in each specific pattern. You will then change back to the smaller needles to work in garter stitch for 3 rows before you bind off. I hope this helps, and thank you for your inquiry!
Changing Needles...take 2
The following squares state to start with the smaller needle and later to change to smaller needle without stating where to change to the larger needle: Seed St.Var 2, Basketweave Var 2, Broken Rib
Response to changing needles
Thank you for your interest in this pattern. You can find which set of needles to use under the rows explaining how to do each stitch pattern. For the first pattern, the Box Stitch Square, you will be using the smaller needles. I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
For some of the squares, it is not clear as to whether we are supposed to change to the larger needles- especially the first pattern listed. Please let me know - if there is an update. Thanks
For each square, the pattern explains the number of stitches to cast on. You'll find it under the rows that explain how to do each stitch pattern. For example, the Box Stitch Square says to cast on 60 sts, same for the Double Seed and Woven Stitch and Seed Stitch. Let us know if you have any more questions. Enjoy.
How many stitches
The baby blue sampler in your recent magazine does not state number of stitches to use. Thanks
