Me too - darn!!

I was hoping Love of Knitting would post a correction. I went ahead and knitted up the hat and gave it for Christmas but was so sorry it didn't come out like the picture.

I ran into the same mistake. Ripped the whole thing out and tried a second time, still got same issue. After planning it out, it seems that it should read something like, "*K7, P1, P1 K7; rep from * around." If each row is done in this fashion it makes an entire diamond. So row 2 would be "*K5, P3, P3, K5" etc.

Pattern mistake

I have followed the pattern, but am only getting half diamonds on the hat, help.
